AN INVITATION TO PARTNER ON CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH

Be the first to study cardiac imaging that stays with the patient
EchoNous is developing a cardiac point-of-care ultrasound system built for long-term, hands-free imaging in critical care. We are partnering with a small number of research sites to put it into a critical care unit, build the workflow around it, and publish the findings.
WHAT IS IT?
Investigational hands-free imaging.
EchoNous is developing a cardiac point-of-care ultrasound system built for long-term, hands-free imaging in critical care. A small transducer is secured to the patient’s chest with a single-use adhesive interface and acoustic gel. The system captures echocardiographic images at intervals you define and stores them for playback and review at the bedside.
Measurement software can calculate and trend left ventricular ejection fraction and ventricular volumes from the parasternal long axis view, and notify the care team when a value moves outside a threshold you set.

Why it Matters?
Existing cardiac monitoring lacks true cardiac image
Critically ill patients are monitored continuously, but the tools that infer cardiac function are either invasive or intermittent.
Pulmonary artery catheterization provides continuous hemodynamics and carries procedural risk, including infection, perforation, thromboembolism and tamponade. It measures right-sided pressures, so left ventricular function is inferred rather than observed.
Transthoracic echocardiography is non-invasive and looks directly at ventricular function, and it is a point-in-time study, often repeated once a day or less.
Between those studies, a change in ventricular function can go unseen until it surfaces in another vital sign, or in the patient’s clinical course.
Traditional Echo
One look, at a point in time.
Repeated during a stay, often a day or less. Limited by access to equipment and expertise, in a setting where minutes matter.
Hands-Free Echo
A hands-free wearable echo, hour after hour.
This study investigates long-term, hands-free imaging captured at intervals you define, without needing a clinician at the bedside to reacquire cardiac imaging.
What might change when the heart can be seen at any moment, without waiting on cardiac imaging?

Be one of our research sites!
Selected research sites will integrate iEcho24 into a critical care unit, build the workflow around it, and publish what they find.
What makes a site a fit
- A physician champion. A critical care cardiologist, CICU or ICU director, or POCUS research lead who wants this question answered
- The right patients. An adult ICU, CCU or CICU treating one or more of the populations above, in volume
- Bandwidth to publish. An investigator with time to write, and research staff to support enrollment and data capture
- A workable IRB path. Institutional appetite for a first-in-market device study, and a realistic timeline to approval
- Willingness to log the unglamorous data. Clinical, workflow and economic observations, including length of stay and resource use

What EchoNous Provides
- Systems and single-use consumables placed at the site for the study period.
- Training for designated staff across shifts, at no cost to the unit.
- A protocol co-designed with your team rather than handed to it.
- Support through IT, cybersecurity and AI governance review.
- Engineering and clinical contact throughout, not a drop-and-go placement.
No purchase is involved in this invitation
Let us know if there’s a fit
A first conversation is 30 minutes and would cover the following:
- Your patient population
- The question you would want to answer
- What your IRB timeline realistically looks like.

CAUTION: Investigational device. Limited by Federal law to investigational use. iEcho24 is not FDA cleared and is not available for commercial sale.
